Let Me Introduce Myself...

My name is Sidney Lopes. I was born in Brazil  and have moved to California  to  study at  San Diego State University where I acquered my bachelor degree in Graphic Design. in 2002. In the same year I was doing my first tattoos  at Royal tattoo in San Diego, after I worked for the Rush Tattoo amd in 2004 I opened my first tattoo shop called Lucky 7   It was located at the pacific beach boardwalk n San Diego. In 2008 my contract expiered and I was unable to renew,  so  I moved to Brazil where I opened  IPANEMA INK ( www.IpanemaInk.com.br).  The shop is located at the heart  of  Rio de Janeiro in Ipanema  2 block from the sexiest beach in the world.  I recently have moved to New York where I am working with an amazing crew @ TATTTOO LOUS   (www.TattooLous.com). Where Im learning a lot . At the same time I am taking classes at The Student  Art League of  New York.

  I created this Blog to express some ideas and exhibit some of my Art Work.
